Our mini vaca to Sandpoint, Memorial Day 2009

Our car ride to Sandpoint Idaho. It started fine and ended terrible. Boyd was finally happy when I gave him his favorite toy. His sisters ball. He played with this ball for 20 minutes. It was great. Both Maggie and Boyd fell asleep pretty good in the car. Boyd woke up when we his some bumpy road construction. And cried for a long time. Not fun! We got to Sandpoint in pretty good time. We promised Maggie she could say Hi to Grandma and Grandpa then she had to go straight to bed. Jeremy got Maggie out of the car and she was wide awake and ready to be at the lake. She said, "Dad, they don't even know we are here yet."

Visiting Great Grandpa and Grandma Noble

Andrew, Stephanie, Deanna and David drove through the night to get to Sandpoint. I don't know if I could do that. We met up with them at Great Grandpa and Grandma Noble's house. Maggie was so excited to see David. We don't get to see her cousins enough. We had a great visit. The kids played around on Grandpa's fun things. I enjoyed taking some pics.

The Sandpoint House

Jeremy and Curt were both kids when they built the Sandpoint house. Here are their hand prints, names and the date 10-11-80 when the cement was poured.

Grandma Noble and Boyd

Grandma and Grandpa's house for biscuits and gravy

We went in to Sandpoint quite a few days to visit Grandma and Grandpa . Grandma wanted to make biscuits and gravy. It has been years since Grandma has been able to move around as great as she did this trip. It is so nice to see her moving around more and being able to enjoy watching the grandchildren playing. It was a nice day. Thanks Grandma!

DUBS

We finished off the day with a Dubs ice cream. I love Dubs. I am a new fan of their chicken burger and fries with fry sauce. YUMMO!

That's a good post! We sure had a ton of fun and wish we could all get together more often.

I think the picture of Jeremy in Grandpa's shop with Dad building the tree stand is funny. Jeremy got caught red-handed. Brandi and I were out helping Dad and Jeremy came out and "barked" at us to get in the house because we are eating breakfast. So, we followed him in. Just as soon as we got in, got our biscuits, and sat down to eat, Jeremy was headed out the door to go out and help Dad. So he could be out there but we couldn't. Hmmmm... That's okay though.

We were just up this weekend again, only to take Mom home, and Brandi was craving Dub's fries. So we stopped in. We love the place, and their fries and fry sauce and ice cream. We then went to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a little while.

Looking forward to seeing you all again at the cabin on the 4th! Adalynn should be here by then, at least she better be!!! See you guys then.

Hey brotha! No blood no foul. :) Just kiddin' bro! We know you wouldn't do that. We got in the house and then everybody got up to start eating. We clearly know/knew that everybody was waiting for us to start eating. Everbody else was being courteous to US, waiting to eat until we were all there. I was just joking. But, that's the problem with joking in emails, comments, texts, and blogs...sarcasm isn't caught that easily. Sorry that it came across wrong!

But that is a GREAT picture of the three of them, Dad, Jeremy, and Andrew. I'm glad you got it. In fact, I think Andrew is even smiling. This is proof that he know how to!!!! :)
