Grease at the 5th Avenue Theater

I had a wonderful day with family. We went to Grease at the 5th Avenue Theater. First, we met up with my cousin Scott Sannes for lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was fabulous. I really wanted some Ravioli. Mmmmm. Then we drove all over downtown Seattle trying to find the theater. It was quite comical. We finally get there figure out where to park, take a potty break and sit down with moments to spare. It was a great show. I love Broadway products. I am so glad my friend Jana Kennard introduced them to me years ago. I enjoyed Grease. I was a little sad that they didn't have the carnival scene at the very end of the show and that they didn't sing some of the songs in the same scenes that were in the movie but overall it was a great production.

I got in trouble for using my flash for this photo. I love how you can see up my nose.

I get so giddy when I see some one famous. It is not like I love Taylor Hicks but he is a celebrity! It was fun seeing him. He is a good singer.

Our cheap knock off bags. Maybe one day I will have a name brand purse

A beautiful day in downtown Seattle

Taylor Hicks: next to Fantasia, American Idol's biggest failure, or disappointment. :) I still can't believe he won that year. At least the last couple of years have been better seasons. Hopefully they do a little better than Taylor has.

But Seattle is probably the most beautiful BIG city in the world when the sun is out.

And I bet the show was fun and amazing, eventhough I am not at all a Taylor Hicks fan.

very cool. I think Taylor Hicks is a bit handsome actually. I would be starstruck. I love that you did this. Sounds like so much fun.

Hooray! I am so glad that I was able to convert you to the awesomeness that is musicals! :) Our time together was not wasted! You need to come to Salt Lake soon - there are tons of great ones out here!
