The Big Game

Maggie had her big game today. She is so adorable. I love to watch her. She is such a big girl.

They act like lions and run as fast as they can to the other side of the court. Maggie has a great lion face.
The Mean Green Team

She is back in action

They moved her to goalie. This is how she was guarding the goal.

Daddy gave her a pep talk and showed her how to get into her defensive stance.

Which one of you dares to get a ball past me? She is intense! No balls got past her. Well no goals were shot at her but still. She is the best goalie I have ever seen.

She had such a great time. And her team won. The other team scored a goal for them. Thanks blue team.

Maggie's friend Dane stopped by to watch. They are so goofy!
Maggie we are so proud at how hard you tried at your Soccer class. You are a special girl. We love how you can talk to anyone and make most smile at your energetic personality. We are so thankful that were sent to our family. You will always be our sweet baby girl. We love you.

Maggie thinks she is small

This is Maggie trying to fit into the laundry basket. She thinks she is small. All I could do was grab the camera and laugh.

The Boy was Tired

There is one difference between Boyd and Maggie. Maggie would fight sleep and Boyd can fall asleep anywhere. I took a quick shower and when I got out this is what I saw. I quickly grabbed my camera, snapped a few pics and then wrapped the poor baby in his blankie and put him to bed. He woke up way to early that morning. I keep telling him he needs to sleep in. He just won't listen. He is so sweet when he sleeps.

Saturday Project

This Saturday Jeremy wanted to remove some rocks that were in a pile at the end of our driveway and build a mini retaining wall. Maggie and Jeremy worked hard removing rocks, dirt, and rota tilling the ground. It was a lot more work than he expected it to be but it looks nice now.

This is where the rock pile used to be
Maggie loved the bugs. I found her a night crawler and she found a caterpillar.

This is an Ivy root. The sucker was huge.

Chili Cook-Off

You know you have a prize winning Chili recipe when you pan comes out looking like this. I was the winner of our Chili Cook-Off this year. I was in total shock and actually kind of embarrassed when I won the Cook-Off. I don't usually win anything. It was fun.

Maggie was practicing for the after effects of the chili. Her dad was a taste tester but didn't end up voting because my chili was in the running.

Mom's little helper

I wish for Chocolate Cake

Maggie was watching one of her favorite shows Sunday morning. They were making wishes on Dandelions. By blowing the seeded Dandelion and making a wish. Little Bear wished first for chocolate cake and then second for two pieces of chocolate cake. When the show was over Maggie looked at me and said, "Mom I wish for chocolate cake too." How could I not make her some. I tried out my new heart pans. It turned out excellent. Could be the best cake I have ever made.

Thank you Aunt Stephanie

Aunt Stephanie and Family sent us a box full of treats. Inside the box was a pic of my nephew holding a sign tell us that he is a big brother. Yeah, another member of the family is coming. This year is a year of babies in our family.

Maggie enjoyed her treats. She loved the blue ring pop. The pictures show the results of eating that ring pop. Maggie was blue all over.

Pucker up

This is Maggie's I am dead face. Dane taught her how to do this!

Maggie got into posing for pics

Hopefully our crib isn't painted with lead paint

Boyd likes to chew on things. His two new favorites are his crib and Maggie's little folding table. He now thinks it is a funny game. He chews and I say no, he chews and I say no.

I found him asleep with the slat of the crib in his mouth. Before Boyd slept in the crib it was in perfect condition. Now we have some chew marks. He is totally different than Maggie. What a little turkey. I love my little man.

All the cooks are in the kitchen

Maggie is ready for dinner. She loves deviled eggs. She ate everything I put on her plate. She must have been starving.
