Grandma, Grandpa, and 4 other suprise visitors

Grandma and Grandpa came over for a visit a few weeks ago. They called us and told us they were bringing a surprise. I had no idea what the surprise might be....They told us they were bringing Adam and Brandi with them. Adam didn't have to work because he had surgery a week prior. So they decided to come. I was surprised! They were two of the four visitors. The others were Piper and her puppy.
Maggie was so excited to see everyone. She ran out to greet them at the car. She loves Bodie. She immediately asked if she could hold Bodie. She walked him around the yard on the leash for quite awhile.
Boyd was not sure what to think. He hadn't seen Grandma and Grandpa Noble for quite awhile. I think months. So when Grandpa grabbed him and started playing bump, Boyd immediately started crying. It took him a minute and then he was ready to play.
It was great seeing them all again. I enjoy having family over to visit.

I decide to go garage saling on Saturday. Adam and Brandi wanted to go to. It was fun. They didn't find much but I bought some plate stands, antique dishes, books, toys, some swimming noodles, and some other misc. stuff. It was a great day. I didn't have kids the whole morning. Maggie and Boyd were entertained by Daddy and Grandma. Boyd helped Daddy in the shop and with the boat. He sits in his exersaucer on the shop bench and watches Daddy work.

Maggie the dog trainer.

This is the cute puppy! We were trying to name him when they were here. They didn't like our names. I came up with Snoop Dog! That one was vetoed.

Maggie's Fort

I remember when I was a kid, one of the best things to do was building a fort out of the couch cushions. This is Maggie's fort. She asked me to build her a fort. She was so excited when it was finished. She jumped right in and I went and got my camera.
She took her dollies in and started playing house. She had a blast. It might have been a little more fun if her little brother would have stopped trying to pull the blanket off. He was having a a good time too.

LOOK who is 32!

Yes, you heard it right. Jeremy is 32! His birthday is May 13th. I made him a spaghetti dinner. I originally planned for lasagna but I forgot to buy the noodles. So I compromised. We ate his favorite cake from Costco last week so I made brownies with chocolate frosting which are his second favorite. I ended up eating more of them then he had but I am the cook so I get that advantage.
No presents are shown because both our families and myself went in together and bought Jeremy a new chop saw from Costco. He loves it. Maggie and Jeremy bought it together and she was insistent that we wrap it because it was his present but I explained to her that it was too heavy for mommy to list and wrap. She let it go but was not happy that Daddy didn't have a present to unwrap!

I couldn't get a good picture of all of them so their is one good one with Maggie looking at the camera and one good one of Boyd looking at the camera.

Make a wish!
I made him a smiley brownie sundae. He didn't even notice.
Happy Birthday Jeremy! We love you!

Happy Mother's Day 2009

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. I woke up and had a beautiful hand drawn present and card from my Baby Girl, Maggie Rose. She is such an artist. Daddy and Maggie went shopping on Friday and bought me a flowers and a beverage dispenser I wanted at Costco. Then Daddy made me breakfast. Thanks family for the special day. I love you!

Later that night we had dinner with friends. We ate steak, cheesy potatoes, deviled eggs, and bread. It was great.

Maggie even wrote MOM on my card. She is getting so big.
Maggie drew the picture of Daddy, Maggie and Boyd. She made Jeremy draw a picture of me.

Spending the Day with Uncle Russ

While Jeremy was away for a business trip my mother came to stay with me for a few days. The first day I had to babysit so we got some of my craft projects accomplished and then went to Fred Meyer and bought some flowers. I have all my planters full of flowers now. Yippee.

The next day we invited my Uncle Russ to come over for the day. We had a great day. We started off with a trip to Costco. My mom bought some goodies for us to eat which included cream puffs. Yummy! Then we came back to my house to visit. We decided to play the Wii a little. Maggie and Uncle Russ had a great time bowling! I wanted to post some pictures of their game!

Look at that good bowling form!

Look at the intensity on that face

Tee-Ball Begins

Maggie has been excited to play Tee-Ball. I bought her a pink and white polka dot mitt. I couldn't pass it up, I loved it. We have taught Maggie the basics of baseball but she hasn't been in any classes yet. Around here you have to be five to be in any real Tee-Ball classes. We enrolled her in a class at our community center. She has been having a ball. She is so good at listening to her teachers and learning new things. I was so proud of her. She did so great!

There are three steps when learning how to throw a ball. Scoop the ball up. Take a step. Then throw.

Maggie is the only kid who uses a mitt. I want her to practice with a mitt so that she will be able to use it later.
Learning how to run the bases

The next part of the class is hitting off the Tee. Maggie did awesome. She had a few really good swings.

The last part is fielding the ball. You can see Maggie has serious concentration on scoop, step, throw!
