Three Day Weekend

My mom and Jessie came to visit over the three day weekend. Maggie was so excited. I didn't tell her Jessie was coming. She loves to have any of our family come visit. She of course, has to sleep with Jessie. They slept together in the back bedroom on the bunk beds. Maggie woke up with her hair looking like a "Rat's Nest". I would love anyone to volunteer to brush that out. My sister asked me the last time she tried to brush out Maggie's hair how I did it and why her head is still so sensitive. Maggie still screams, cries, and gets really mad at me every time I try and brush her hair. Sorry kid. But I still love the boings.
She had a great time playing with Jessie. They stayed out of our hair long enough for my mom to help me but away all my Christmas stuff, make dinner, and do a few choirs.
Maggie insisted that we get out her swimming dog. We broke it out and it swam in our small bath tub with Maggie and Jessie. They finished the day by playing Yahtzee with Bree (Prince's sister) and acting like goofballs.

Nannie teaching the girls about Yahtzee. A family favorite dice game.

Jessie got a Yahtzee. She rolled five of the same number. If you look closely her front right tooth is finally in. It has been missing since she was two.

That's fun you had some family visiting. Jeremy's boat looks awesome. I bet it will be tons of fun. The word "Sammamish" sp.? is very fun to say. :)

And Um, maggie's hair Is EXACTLY what my curly hair looks like on some mornings. :) I can't go more than two days without having to "redo" it. I HAVE to condition it more than I wash it, or I'll create severe damage to it since it's naturally so dry. I also have to get it cut more often than I would like, because of natural breakage. :( Ughhh, curly hair is SO high maintenance. I HATE how EXTRA curly my hair is when I'm pregnant! It is seriously insane how curly it is. I've NEVER seen anyone with hair as curly and tight spirals as mine. I use spray leave in conditioner every time I get out of the shower. That helps my hair a lot and keeps the curls from tangling and hurting MY head!!! I don't blame maggie for crying! the more curly hair is kept hydrated and conditioned every day the less crying and tangles there are. Belive me. :)

Oh poor Maggie! I don't have curly hair, but I am EXTREMELY tender headed. It's unreal. I am glad that you got all your decorations down, I bet Kris was a big help.
