December 25, 2008 Wenatchee for Christmas dinner

We ended up leaving Sandpoint at about 11:30 am. A little later than we had planned but we had a great time opening presents and visiting a little bit before we started our drive to Wenatchee. I had a wonderful Christmas morning and had obviously been a really good girl this year. I was so excited to receive so many great gifts and share such a great Christmas with a wonderful family.

We have been so blessed this year! I know that Christmas isn't about what you get but I LOVE PRESENTS. It is in my blood. My grandmother was exactly the same way. We couldn't leave presents at her house without her opening them before Christmas and even worse before we were there with her to enjoy her reactions. I enjoy my presents for days after Christmas too as I look through my gifts and enjoy getting new fun and exciting things. Now all I need is a bigger house to put everything. Well maybe that will be on my list for next year. Just kidding.

The drive to Wenatchee was fine. I was so tired. I ended up sleeping from Spokane to Moses Lake. It was great. I then got out my Twilight book and read another chapter. Yeah, I am on chapter 3. Then I got out my new camera and started taking pictures. I am wondering if I will be able to learn about all the functions it has.

This picture is right outside of Quincy. As we came down the hill and was greeted with snowy hills and sunshine. What a beautiful Christmas afternoon. It was even more beautiful in Wenatchee.

We had dinner at Jackie's new house this year. Dinner was ready to be served right when we got there. Thank goodness they moved the dinner to 4pm and were running a little late or we would have missed it. Grandma Audrey is sitting at the table waiting for dinner.

December 25, 2008 Christmas Morning at the Noble's

I got up early with Boyd he had a schedule of waking up at 6 am and then going back to sleep in his swing down stairs. I just had reclined the chair to go back to sleep for an hour or so when I heard footsteps. I figured it was Dad Noble because he was going into town to get Great Grandpa and Grandma Noble. But to my surprise it was Dad Noble, Deanna, Stephanie, Andrew, Brandi and Adam. They were all up before Maggie. Let's just say that I didn't end up not getting anymore sleep. I had already been up at 3 to feed Boyd and was able to see all of the presents that Santa had left for all the good boys and girls. I think Santa has a sense of humor because all of the presents were visible except mine. Santa must have known that I enjoy presents and trying to guess what I have been given. I guess you can say that it is a hobby and talent that I have been blessed with.

Maggie and Jeremy finally got up about 7:30am. Maggie was so excited to see that Santa had thought she was a good girl this year and left her what she wanted. She wanted a swimming dog. She has been asking for it for about 6 months now. She couldn't wait to get it out of the box and try it. We convinced her to wait until we got home to open it.

Maggie noticed that Santa and his reindeer had eaten up all of their treats. She set out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for his reindeer. Santa left a letter for Maggie, David, and Boyd. He was so glad that they had been good this year and hoped that next year they would be good too.

I got a real suprise Christmas morning too. Jeremy decided to buy the camera I wanted. I was so suprised and mad at the same time. He could have at least let me open it early to take pictures. Now I just need to figure out how to take pictures with the thing. The manual is huge. I better start reading.

Santa-point Idaho-Part 2

One thing that is special about Sandpoint is getting to visit with Great Grandpa (Earl) and Great Grandma (Hazel). They love to have their family come to visit. We are so blessed to have them in our lives and we love them so much.

Grandpa and Jeremy decided to run some errands and came back with KFC. We had a nice lunch and then visited and watched the kids play around. Boyd gave Great Grandma lots of loves. He was snuggling on her for quite awhile. Maggie was having fun helping set the table for lunch and playing on the stationary bike. We had a great time.

Christmas in Santa-point Idaho-ho-ho 2008- Part 1

Merry Christmas

This post is a little late but I haven't had the time to blog. We had a busy last couple weeks. We started in Sand-ta-point Idaho-ho-ho. We had a good time shopping, wrapping presents, cooking, and visiting.

We came to Sandpoint with a cold. Both the kids came down with colds the first day we arrived. It was terrible. Boyd didn't sleep at all the whole time we were there. I would have to come down stairs every morninga between 3-6 AM and put him back to sleep in the swing. All I have to say is thank goodness for swings. Thanks Mom and Dad Noble for buying us one! There is definately one thing that I think is not fair and it is that kids have to have to get sick. I hate when my babies don't feel well. Maggie was a trooper. She even wanted to go with everyone to church. We sent her her with Grandpa, Deanna, Stephanie, Andrew and David. When they got home we took pictures with the kids Christmas outfits.

We made some of the Noble family Christmas time treats. Stephanie, Deanna, Trina and I made peanut butter balls, peanut butter rice crispy treats with chocolate on top, fudge,and fondant covered cherries dipped in chocolate. It was fun learning how to make new treats.

Jeremy was entertaining the kids while the women were in the kitchen. One of the highlights of Grandpa and Grandma Noble's house is "Billy Bass". I think we heard that DARN bass 1,000 times this Christmas. David could say some of the words and would sing the chorus. It was cute. Even if we had to hear it over and over again.

We decided to put Boyd in the baby doll stroller. He was just the right size. Boyd had a great time. He was born to drive.
