Merry Christmas from "DUBS"

Merry Christmas from Sandpoint Idaho!
Peppermint ice cream
It was yummy!

Deanna's Swirl ice cream (she took the pic)

It has been a tradition of Jeremy's family to Check Spellinggo to a local ice cream shop "DUBS" in the summer time together and get ice cream. So when we decided to go this winter it was a little weird for me going into Dubs and it not being summer. It wasn't warm or sunny instead it was freezing and cloudy. But we decided it would be fun to get some Dubs ice cream and since it was Andrew's birthday we really did have an excuse. When we got there it was decorated with Christmas decoration and was very festive. They even colored the ice cream green and red for the holiday season. I was of course excited because I noticed that they had fry sauce. My favorite! It was a fun outing with the family.

Maggie enjoyed her Green Vanilla ice cream and she had a green face to show it!

Jeremy enjoys a JUMBO chocolate ice cream. He found out about this monster of a ice cream last summer and insists that it is not too big.

Stephanie had vanilla ice cream dipped in cherry. She was festive too!

Boyd was feeling a little left out. He wanted to join in on the fun and have some fries and fry sauce. Sorry son you are too little still.

Boyd's first cereal

Boyd had his first bites of cereal last night. He wasn't that thrilled. He was way too tired and upset from his shots yesterday to think about eating. He took about three bites and was done. He looked so little in the high chair.
It is hard for me to remember when Maggie was that small. Even though it seems like yesterday that I was feeding her for the first time. She was a little messier then he was.

Boyd waiting to be fed
Here it comes

I am not quite sure I like this stuff...

Playing with Grandpa and Grandma

It is nice to have Grandparents so close by. Even though Grandpa and Grandma Noble live further away then they used to we still have been able to see them a lot the last six months. We were so glad that they could be here for Halloween and Thanksgiving with us this year. Maggie and Boyd love their grandparents.

Playing with Grandma and Bodie. He loves Bodie and Bodie loves him!

Playing with Grandpa again!

Partying with Santa

Saturday was our ward party. I love to get the kids dressed up in their festive Christmas attire. They looked especially cute this year but I might just be bias because they are my children. We had a great time eating and visiting. Maggie's favorite part was Santa of course. She is loving Santa this year. She wants a swimming dog from him this year. We will see if she was naughty or nice this year. I know what my answer would be.
Maggie's art work on our table. If you look closely you can see she wrote her name. She had some help with the scribbling on the bottom from her friend Bentley that she calls "Bempley".
My cute little Mrs. and Mr. Claus
The special visitor of the night. It looks like he gained a few pounds this year.
He split his shirt open.

Merry Christmas

I have had Christmas set up around my house for over a month now. It has been really fun but it has been hard for me to get into Christmas. I do have the music playing, the tree lit up but something is missing...the presents. I love to have presents wrapped under the tree. I need to get on the ball!! I really need to decide what I still need to buy and what I already have. Oh well, it will have to wait for now. I just wanted to post a few pics of my decor. I hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas!

CAST AWAY

This Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008, Maggie got her cast off. She was so excited that she almost jumped out of the car when we arrived at the doctors office. I can't believe it has been three weeks already. I am so glad that she will be able to resume some of her normal activities even though by the end of three weeks she could run, jump and skip with that cast on her foot. It is amazing what kids will do no matter the challenge.

Here it goes........

And it is off!!!

This is what happens when you don't wash your foot for three weeks.
Maggie decided to smell her foot. The pictures tell the rest of the story.

She decided that it really didn't smell very good. Actually she said "My foot is stinky."

Look what Grandma found

Maggie is not afraid of anything. On the other hand her mother is the words biggest scaredy cat. I am so glad that she is adventurous and is getting to experience some of the fun things in life. When we were at Grandpa Scouller's home this last weekend Grandma Noble found a frog. Maggie wanted to hold it right away. Then Grandma made it climb right up her shirt. It was definitely one of the highlights of her trip. The other was sleeping on the roll away bed in the living room. What can I say, my child is easily entertained.
